My footsteps touch like fingertips

Atop thin ice that barely keeps

My arms and legs from iron frame

As rusty as a new athame

As I retrace the paths I took

Reminiscing, re-immersing,

Re-emerging from a prison world

Beneath the lights, in open mind

How bright are they, beyond the walls

How far are they, beyond the bars

As I take flight, I hear their calls

Those free spirits, my fellow stars

So I pursue memory lane

A labyrinth of supercuts

To take more films and burn them down

Ignite myself then make me tame

For they asked it, a monster gone

For they kept it, a corpse from fray

So it will be, and it will come

A reason for the end of days.
